Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Bashar Ahmedo, DDS
Cosmetic & General Dentistry
Expert dentist, Bashar Ahmedo, DDS, brings more than 15 years of experience in general, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry to Brite Smile Dental, located in San Diego.
Dr. Ahmedo began his professional education at The University of Aleppo School of Dentistry in Aleppo, Syria, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Ahmedo moved to the United States and completed a residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Ahmedo subsequently entered private practice, joining the staff of dental practices in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Dubai. In 2012, Dr. Ahmedo returned to Southern California and joined the team at Brite Smile Dental.
Dr. Ahmedo prides himself on providing a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing environment for all of his patients. He has an excellent track record as a cosmetic dentist and serves men, women, and families throughout San Diego.
He proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, the Dental Society – Emirates Medical Association, and the Syria Dental Association. Outside of working with patients, Dr. Ahmedo also enjoys participating in continuing education courses and augmenting his professional skills.
Dr. Ahmedo makes his home in the La Jolla area and loves staying physically active. When he isn’t working with patients or attending industry events, you can find him scuba diving, surfing or playing soccer and beach volleyball. Dr. Ahmedo also enjoys traveling. He welcomes patients seeking comprehensive general or cosmetic dentistry to Brite Smile Dental.
